In West Hollywood, in the wee hours of the morning Friday, Amanda Bynes was pulled over by the LAPD and arrested for a DUI.

The arrest took place at 3 a.m. and the 26-year-old's bail was set at $5,000. (She had just celebrated her birthday Tuesday.)

At 5 a.m., the She's the Man actress was put into police custody at the West Hollywood police station, according to the L.A. County Sherriff's booking report.

Bynes has been living a low-key life since starring opposite Emma Stone in 2010's Easy A.

After proclaiming in summer 2010 that she would be retiring from acting altogether on account of "If I don't love something anymore, I stop doing it," she announced a month later (via Twitter) that her retirement was a false alarm.
